Step 1: Manuscript Checkup
In the Manuscript Checkup, we give you quick feedback on your manuscript. We do a 1 to 3-page assessment of your manuscript, including:
- Strengths
- Weaknesses
- Opportunities for improvement
- Suggestions for next steps
You'll start with meeting our Author Consultant so we can get clear on your book goals before we do the assessment. Then, our team of editors will pour through manuscript and provide their critical feedback. After we've finished assessing your manuscript, you'll have a general list for what to do, whether you do it yourself or with us.
